Hello fellow gardeners

Well, we've had about 30 cherry 'maters; 2 green peppers; AND...
10 ears of CORN!!!!!
(ROY- it is a small garden- don't make fun )

It seems that the "mystery 'maters" (one's that reseeded from last year) are doing better (healthier) than the 6 planted this year.

I am just happy something is growing after all the rain and chill.

Just an fyi.

Lin

I think that you doing good Lin.
At least you got more corn than we got. I was looking for a couple of bushels for the forth of July but the deer eat it all up. We are getting plenty of tomatoes, squash and cucumber.

You said that "It seems that the "mystery 'maters" (one's that reseeded from last year) are doing better (healthier) than the 6 planted this year." I seen that happen a lots of times.  In fact I got a watermelon growing beside my shop that is doing better than if I had planted some this year which I didn't. Put a little fertilizer on them and see what you get from it.

PS
Just some useless information.
Usually there is 15 dozen ears of corn in a bushels.

Hi Roy,

I think it's just not right those deer ate your corn before you.
Rude...

I want to plant some more, but it's been a bit too humid for me to be outside.

He's got some little cucs (maybe 1/2 inch) too.

We take what we can get, right.

Lin
