Reply with quote | #1 | Regarding dental care; Look for Schools and/or Colleges and/or Universities that have programs for: Dental Hygenist Dental Schools You can get either free or greatly discounted services. Back in the day I would go and have my teeth cleaned every 6 months for $5 at a University training dental hygenists and dentists doing their training/residency. Better than being treated/examinined by medical students. Those dental programs are very strict.

Reply with quote | #2 | Thank you for the advice. I did contact Raymond Walters College and they will do cleanings only $20 with X-rays included. They did give me the Dental Society number. I think I'll go to the college for my cleanings. My dentist is $100 w/o X-rays. An extra $100 with X-rays. The two fillings I'm just gonna have my dentist take care of next Saturday $80 each. I don't want to let those go. I already had a front filling done ($85) and now two more. I do have an old front filling that needs to be replaced because it has left a black line along my gum (another $70). If only my employer would provide dental insurance. I know I should be thankful I have a job. It's hard when you really want out but there is no place to go. I feel trapped. Tryin' to stay positive. Talk Soon Diana |
