Well, in the Valley, prices are $2.29 for Premium and $2.49 in L.A.! "Fahrenheit 9-11" EXPLAINS WHY oil prices ARE SO HIGH! "W" has DEAL with Saudi's to DECREASE prices BEFORE election to encourage votes!

Howdy All!

Just thought you might like a little update from when we first started this in May, 2004. I saw gas for $1.74 but I'd still like for them to "Bring it Down" as Dr. Evil would say.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hey Diana and everyone else
Good thing I filled up on payday on the 15th (B4 the cost went up yesterday) - it cost me $40 then (which will still only last 4 days - I drive 100 miles a day just to get to and from work). I looked this morning and it was up to $1.99 again in Cincinnati and only a little less in SE Indiana. I keep thinking I should get rid of the van, but at over 200,000 miles and running like ____, I doubt that I'd get a very good trade on it I'm really beginning to think that it was a good thing that my son intentionally (probably) failed his drivers test - I can't afford for him to be driving!

Hey All;

When I started this thing on 5/22/04 gas was $1.899.
It been all the way to $1.979.
Today I got out and seen that the price around here is $1.749 today. I don't understand it. It cheaper now than it was this spring.

Hey Gang;

It don't seem like it been that long since 5-22-04 since I first posted about the price of gas. Back then I paid $1.899 for gas and thought that was high. This summer I paid as much as $1.959. Today I fill up my van on 1.919 for gas. What is the price where you live?

Roy,

I paid $2.09 for regular today and called all my friends to tell them about the great bargain.  As we said (about 2 years ago in this post) before, NY is no place for bargains.  Hope you have a fun weekend joy riding!

Well gang looks like KY has got you beat.  Gas station sign this morning read $2.25 a gallon.  Funny thing you can go a few blocks away and it's cheaper even cheaper across the bridge in OH.  It's worth it for us to buy gas in OH because it's close, gas can be 15-20 cents cheaper per gallon and we are there often so it's no inconvenience.  Do you think we will get down to prices as in '04?  I can always wish.  I'm good at that!

Hi Emily,

You are still out there.   Good to hear from you and hope everything is going well.  $1.94 is a deal and I hope it goes down like that for OH/KY.  How's the hunt for your new place and are Mom and Dad helping yet?

I was rereading some of the posted stuff and I said that This summer I paid as much as $1.959 for gas.
What I should have type was I paid $2.959 for gas.
I wish that the $1.959 was all that I had paid.
I'm going to blame it on the MS.

What part of Richmond do you live in? That was my old stomping ground.
I live down here just off the Chesapeake Bay.
